Stephen Tyler, among other things!

Stephen Tyler can still rock and Joe Perry can still roll. Boy do these dudes look old....lol. Areosmith and Lenny both were awesome. We went to dinner before the show and downed several jello shots. I think my jello shot days are just about numbered, its time for Jen to stop thinking she is a pseudo-rock girl.

The whole weekend was loads of fun. I will let Friday night speak for itself in the below post, um yeah was feeling good!

Saturday was a great day as the BUCKEYES won big! YAY!

Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire is by far the best of the four (4) in the series. The director, Mike Newell, handled the teenage angst with a terrific amount of humor that lead to the heart breaking and frightening ending. I was a little worried about how scared the children would be but they handled it great. My son absolutely loved the dragon scenes and I must admit they did a heck of a job on the special effects. I have heard lots of people complain about the score but I thought it fit the mood perfectly. As always it was fun to see how far Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson have grown physically and in their acting range. Dan has come the furthest and it really shows at the end of the movie. There was a lot to cover in this film and not everything adheres to the book. But being a true fan I really did enjoy the movie and how the producers adapted it to the screen. They took the best material and made it come alive.

We are currently without internet at home as we are having hardwood floors laid throughout our downstairs area. It appears that the floors will not be completed before Thanksgiving day. This means that we will be eating in our basement on card tables....lol...I find this sort of funny. I know if this had happened in years past I would be throwing a hissy fit at hubby for his poor timing in scheduling the installation. But in all fairness, the floor is looking good and I left the decision to my husband. Life is to short to get worked up about the dinner, it will get made, the kids will enjoy a Thanksgiving picnic in our finished basement and it can be informal for a change. I just want to have fun and be happy this week.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Steven Tyler was always on my "to do" list. But as he gets older he is quickly slipping off of that list.

Hi Jen,

I replied on my blog, but for goodness sake, I would never take offense to anything you have to say. I expect when I write about a big scary naked man slapping me senseless that some people wouldn't think him the most stable father. No worries! I've only ever really been offended by another blogger once that I can remember, and that because we were arguing politics, and you know how that usually goes.

You have a happy Thanksgiving too. I'm glad to hear that you are cutting the hubby some slack. We aren't perfect, but we don't try to be. I mean, woops, we try to be.

Aww Scott thanks! Yeah hubby really has been amazing with the floor thing. Usually he butts in on decorating stuff and it drives me insane but this week we have been in agreement.

Truly, I am not going to stress over Thanksgiving and the dinner. I refuse to be a cliche! lol

Steven Tyler was old back when I saw him over 10 years ago. Joe Perry, though...I'd still do him.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'll see this movie this weekend. Glad you liked it. I loved the book, and I thought the director of HP3 did a fantastic job. HP4 is the first time they had a British director. Kind of ironic.

My plans for Christmas break include devouring the Harry Potter set my friend got me years ago. Once I read the books, I can finally see the movies!

Happy Turkey Day!
