They told me how great it was. They told me that I would be happy that I did it. They said I would be most pleased with the results. They told me after 3 or 4 times it will feel natural and you will look great. Many could not believe that I had not ever done it before and asked "what are you waiting for?"
So I made the appointment and took the plunge yesterday. That appointment required 3 advil and two beers while being subjected to the toture treatment.
Yes, my sisters lead me astray. All I have to say today is "OUCH!"

Ok, if you're talking about what I think you're talking about, I have been thinking about getting it done. Was it really that bad? The salon peeps say it's not that painful, but I know they just want my money :P.
pain honey, pain! It was bearable for me because you know two kids and all. But sheesh today is not good. I have some bruising/broke blood vessels that hurt and look bad. Not sure if it is supposed to look this bad.
OK, I don't ever go and pay for torture. What did you have done?
If it has to do with Brazil, you just talked me out of it.
If it has to do with permanent ink, I've been there done that, can't wait to do it again.
If it has to do with banging your head against the wall. I've been there and done that too. OUCH

At first, I thought the garden knitter was the last comment, but then I noticed I could scroll down for the answer! I figured that it was either that or ink, but since the sisterhood was talking you into it I had a suspicion you were "speaking Portugese"! Hope things improve, that doesn't sound like much of a worthwhile experience.

No they recommend just the bikini wax for at least the first 3-4 times. It gets you used to the pain first. I cannot even imagine doing that whole Brazilian thing...*shudder*. It is looking better today. I was able to use the exfoliating cream and ahem other treatment. I am trying to save the men who read here....lol!
I've never understood the whole 'waxing' thing... seems to me a decent razor and some lotion does a pretty good job...
Besides, I'd be worried about 'ingrown' hairs if they were pulled out!!
